Love the office. ...very clean,staff is very friendly, have a tv and video games for entertainment while u wait..the theater seats are nice.

The entire staff at this office is great! The atmosphere is very inviting as well. My daughter looks forward to her appointments!!

Dr. Hicks and all of the staff at Hicks-McMurphy are always there to greet Bowen in a caring but professional and helpful way. I never thought a child would look forward to orthodontist appointments, but he truly loves going (even when he doesn't miss school)! :) We are thankful for Dr. Hick's and the work he does. We are pleased with Dr. McMurphy and his group. The office staff is very professional and prompt in answering any of our questions. Starting from working with our insurance company to verify benefits all the way through scheduling the follow-up visits, they stayed on top of everything.



Never did we have long waits for our scheduled appointments. If we had an appointment time at 2 pm, we were taken back to room at 2 pm. Our youngest wished his brothers appointments took longer so he could play more video games!



Dr. McMurphy does a great job of connecting with his patient as well as with the parents. We never feel rushed. The quality of care provided is the best I have seen among all providers in Mobile.

You MUST go there! My teeth were so crooked! After a year into it, I have seen a dramatic change! I have about a year to go, but I get excited every visit to hear them say how much it's changed. The doctors and staff are amazingly nice and courteous to my comfort. I love this place!!!

Hicks and McMurphy really care about their patients. They have been patient with me all the way through it! I am really appreciative of all their care and patience!

We started our first sons orthodontist care with another doctor due to our insurance paying more of the out of pocket expense, BIG mistake! We were all miserable under his care. We finally decided the money wasn't worth the torment of going and began using Doctors Hicks and McMurphy. We are now on our second son under their care and it has been an awesome experience for the entire family. It is something that we don't have to dread doing. The doctors, the care, and the staff are all wonderful. This is one of the most important investments you'll make, so chose wisely. We wouldn't settle for less than the best education for our children, so why settle for less than the best orthodontist care? An education and their smile are for a lifetime! Make the next few years enjoyable, not miserable, I speak from experience.

I love Dr. Hicks!!! Thanks to him I know longer have headaches and my smile is going to be perfect!! When I came to him I had really bad headaches because my teeth were putting so much pressure on each other. Everyone told my mom it was something else but when we went to Dr. Hicks he knew exactly what it was and told my mom what to do and the headaches went away. I have had braces now for over 2 years and everytime I go to Dr. Hicks he makes sure I am doing ok with my braces and me. They have really cool prizes too in the prize cabinet!!

Best Orthodontist in town! From the receptionist to the Doctor's these guys are ALL awesome. Very caring and concerned about what I want out of my smile, Dr. Hicks does an incredible job explaining treatments available and studying the best treatment recommended for ME! I recommend Hicks & McMurphy to all ages, if my daughter ever needs orthodontics this is where we will be.
