After obtaining his undergraduate education in the US Air Force Academy, Dr. Thomas Bender went on to attend medical school in New Orleans at Tulane University. Dr. Bender interned at the Keesler Air Force Base (focusing in general surgery), and then, chose to carry out his Dermatology Residency at Tulane University. As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Bender has wide-ranging knowledge of skin conditions, detecting and treating skin cancer, and also handling cosmetic injections, for instance: Perlane, Botox®, Restylane, Sculptra, and Dysport. Dr. Bender opened his first practice, Advanced Dermatology and Skin Care Centre in 2008, in Mobile, Alabama. He now has six practices located in Alabama and Florida.
