Horrible experience. Unprofessional is an understatement. They advertise fair work at a FAIR PRICE. That couldn't be far from the truth. They will take advantage of your business and over charge for their services. I was charged almost 400 dollars for a refrigerator motor and labor. The labor took 8 mins and the refrigerator part is priced for $40. They charged me $360 for their services. The technician never went over pricing, just presented me with a bill. The bill did not include any details as to what I was being charged for. No breakout down of service charge, no nothing. Just an unfair, crooked price. The technician called "his boss" who gave him the amount to charge. His boss is stationed in Birmingham. He is a crook. This company needs to be reported. They don't deserve a star, but I had to give one to warn everyone to stay away from this business.

Have to agree with previous reviews...stay away. I lost count of the times they told me they would call me back and never did. After very oddly pressing to collect the $80 "service fee" before anything was fixed, then not returning my phone calls for WEEKS on end, I was simply referred to another business! Absolutely shameful business practices.

Stay away, they cussed my wife out on the phone, This is the most unprofessional business I have ever had dealings with. There is no customer service. The man answering the phone is a total tool.

Had a problem with my washer and it was repaired .Plain and simple I had a very good expierence .I definitely recommend this company

i had a real emergency and i called alabama home appliance and they actually came out the same day and repaired my refrigerator .The technician was very professional and had the parts needed to repair the fridge . I must say i was very happy with their service from beginning to end and i will be sure to call them in the future

This guy was great . He arrived on time did a super job. Fixed my washer and dryer and taught me some things to do for my old machines to get another few years out of them. They don't build them like they used to. I will be a client with them for life.

This company is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. After setting up an appointment to have my appliance assessed, I was never contacted by a staff member. My appointment came and went with no communication. My husband called to inquire and informed that he hadn't received a call from anyone there, but it wasn't a big deal. The employee reschedule the appointment for another day. The next appointment comes and goes with no communication. My husband calls again. This goes on for a couple of days. We set up an appointment, wait for a call, no one calls and my husband has to call them to inquire as to why. The last time my husband called to inquire on why no one contacted him about assessing the appliance, the employee states that "I remembered who you were and your wife was rude to me on the phone. So I didn't feel that we needed to start a professional relationship on those terms" and immediately hangs the phone up on my husband. Neither myself nor my husband was ever rude to anyone, ever. Even if they felt we or I was rude, why wouldn't you contact me and say so as opposed to rescheduling my appointments with no intent to ever come out and look at the appliance. I have worked in customer service for years and this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever received in my entire life. Very unprofessional and RUDE! Which is what they claim I was to them.

I have been looking for a good appliance repair company that is honest and reasonable in price for years. I started using Woody and his company about a year ago. Had him come out to look at my clothes dryer, refrigerator and dish-washer, all had minor problems and was afraid of what the price would be, but I was sold on this company after that visit. They are very knowledgeable and I feel they have a conscience about their workmanship and the prices they charged. I have used this company many times since then and I was here about to call them again when I decided to write this review. Would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an appliance repair company !!

Company is very responsive and tells you what it going to cost before they do the work. Prices are competitive and thay guarantee what they do. I would give them a 9 out of ten. thanks amelia

This company by far provided the best service we ever had in our lives. They called and let us know what time they would be there and they were. I had a problem with my refrigerator which they fixed in no time for way less than I thought it was going to cost. Woody is the nicest repair person I have ever met. great company.

Call other service companies FIRST before contacting. Offers free service call with repair, but repairs are EXTREMLY HIGH compared to other appliance service companies. I paid about $80 more than I would have been charged by two other companies, but once they are in your home, you're stuck. Paid $180 for 1/2 hour of labor and a $12 part. So basically you still pay for the service call, repair and then some. BEWARE!
