Republic has been terrible to work with. They won't pick up your trash and are no help when you call to get an explanation. I have had this problem half a dozen times in the two years I have used them. If there was anyone else I would pay more to use them.

Complete and total jerks. They do have a monopoly in this town which is painful. They charge a fair price...if they pick up the trash. They always like to blame the customer for their inability to do their jobs when things are half assed or skipped.



The city I grew up in there were 2 or 3 companies and also the city itself did garbage pick up. So I was suprised when I could just hire someone else.

@ The people who work there are condescending and rude. I haven't had my trash picked up in 2 weeks and when I called they were quick to shift the blame on me. I didn't have my can out in time...but it's been in the alley for 2 weeks...then they tell me my pick up day changed, 2 weeks ago. But when I got home, the trash was collected (after calling them twice)but they left a rude note on my can about making sure it's out by 5am.



I'm gonna crowd source for a competing garbage company in Missoula. Just an idea.



All in all Republic sucks but they're the only show in town, so good luck.

Did not pick up my garbage despite it being out in plain sight hours ahead of their pick up time. Was advised by the company that an extra charge would apply even though they had no valid reason for not picking up the garbage in the first place. Must be nice to have a job that pays you to do it right but more to do it wrong.

A total monopoly! They are in control and don't you forget it. They change their times of pickup and you are left with a weeks worth of garbage. They charge you even if they didn't pick up your garbage. No pleasing the customer.....and they don't have to as they are the only game in town. We need another service in town for some competition.
