Nine years ago I received a gift from my father a 7 week old female Red Heeler I named Rojo even though later I found out I was supposed to name her Roja for a female. From her first shots to pet care advise four paws helped me from the start. My female Red Heeler gave birth to a set of puppies on two separate occasions by Patti and her staff, and Patti and her staff were always professional, caring and always available at a moments notice.
Over the years four paws treated me professionally. Recently they changed ownership and I never got to personally thank Patti and her staff for all her help! I commend Patti not only for her wonderful help over the years but transferring her buisness to the wonderful new owners and their staff who have been nothing but professional, honest, caring and again at a minutes notice able to help someone in need.
After 9 years my friend Rojo was not acting right, this last Thursday I called and urgently needed help! They said they were busy but understood my concerns and made time for me, an hour later they had her in performed tests and monitored her, unfortunately the news was grimm for Rojo and me. I was able to take Rojo home and enjoy the last hours I had with her and contemplate making the hardest humane decision i have had to make.
Over night Rojo went from bad to worse and on Friday I had to again call at a moments notice to again see the vet, the receptionist understood by my call that it was urgent!! again they made time for me. When I arrived they made a room for Rojo and me they allowed me to hold my best friend in my lap until she took her last breath. Four paws helped me make final arrangements and consoled me.
2 hours later four paws vet called and said she had performed an autopsy and found that Rojo was full of cancer.
Thank you so much FOUR PAWS for your help over the years and the treatment of my best friends Rojo, Diesel and Redbone. Thanks Kerry Costello

My experience has always been that my dogs have been reluctant to enter the vet clinic offices. When Dr. Patti Pratto entered the examination room at 4 Paws however, she knelt down and got on my little dogs' level. She took the time to let them acquaint themselves with her before she started her examination. She was both thorough and professional. By the time she checked them over, they were relaxed and working with her with no fear, resulting in a far more accurate diagnosis.

The office itself has been very quick with any medication refills and any notification of shots and health updates specific to my little dogs' health. I was always given options with medical procedures and any dental surgeries and cleanings.

On a personal note....I have a little terrier that I rescued, that had been beaten and brutally treated, which resulted in her having severe separation anxieties. Rather than bringing her in early for her dental cleanings (which would have her in a kennel at the clinic while waiting for her turn to be treated) they had me bring her in a little later so that she would not be away from me for such a long time which would be a lot easier on her.

I am not disputing the above reviews, but in my experience over the course of 5 years plus, I have had nothing but excellent results with Dr. Pratto and her associates. More importantly, my little Darby's attitude about going to 4 Paws clinic to be treated has let me know she is happy to go there and happy to see Dr. Pratto. And such a sweet little spirit deserves nothing but the best.
