Horrible experience! As soon as Dr. Sheikh found out my son had an ACL injury, he was very abrasive and upset both my son and I. He said you are done playing basketball, you will never play again and no team would want you because you have an ACL injury. My son left that day in tears! I should have found another Doctor right then. He referred us to Dr. Feanny, his partner, who does ACL surgeries. No personality! Never shook our hand or introduced himself. He acted like he was annoyed when I asked questions about my son's injury and options we had. Never told us the option we had available that was the adolescent soft tissue from the hamstring due to the remaining open growth plates. The wait times at that office were also up to 2 hours! Do not waste you're time or money on this unacceptable office! Our current doctor that has been fabulous just did this adolescent soft tissue surgery on my son on the 30th of December, when we went to him for a 2nd opinion it was such a refreshing change when we met Dr. Desimone in Weston, FL. I highly recommend you make you're appointment with him and avoid Total Orthopedic Care at all costs!

DO NOT GO HERE! I had an appt at 9:30-I showed at 9:15. I had my paperwork filled out from web site with I.D, Debit Card, and Ins Card in hand. Receptionist starts highlighting the forms and asking me about his blood pressure and his height and weight-all things they are supposed to do. I have no idea. The entire office is packed. I asked if he was on time, the lady laughed and said, "It is Monday." I sat down and then waited as everyone that signed in after me got seen. I was the last which took over 2.5 hours. Now to the room.The girl comes in and proceeds to ask me what his weight and height is? Really???? We passed a scale on the way into this room and clueless as I do not own a scale. Again, their job? Does anything in this office work besided a credit card machine?

Not once did I receive a "Sorry" or "I appreciate you waiting" just hustle bustle like a cow in a slaughter. Nobody was happy. Debbie was the only exception to this entire situation. The Doc comes in and spent all of 4.5 minutes with my son and told us we needed to see another Doctor. The biggest part of the visit was when he talked into the recording machine (In Spanish? ???) and talked about his diagnosis. He fled out of the room and then I had to wait in line again.......just to check out.......OMG, really?????I asked for any diagnosis or records to be sent to my regular Doc and I swear on my life, I will NEVER come back here again. The whole disingenuous attitude was more than I can stomach. Not a good way to get a referral but definitely a good way to get a bad review. This entire chaos made me late picking up my daughter who is only 6. She is too small to walk across 4 lanes of traffic--ALONE-- through a field because of a Doctor that cannot manage time. Not a fan!!!! Will never return. This site is making me give at least one star for the rating, but I assure you, not deserving of one star.
