I recently flew on spirit airl...

I recently flew on spirit airlines over the Christmas Holiday. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience!! and their customer service sucks. A flight that was supposed to cost me and my boyfriend $250ish, ended up costing us twice that amount. Here I thought that I was getting a great rate. Guess I was wrong!! They charged me an additional $59.95 for signing up for their "Club Fair", which I never excepted or agreed to pay an annual payment of. They tacked that amount onto my already overly priced flight. The annual fee is non-refundable, so I couldn't even get a credit back for that. What kind of customer service is that? They charge for bags if you check them or carry them on.

I will NEVER and I don't recommend anyone to fly with them, unless you feel like getting ripped off. Their supervisor wasn't willing to give me a credit for this mistake and it cost him a future customer in me and hopefully many others will not choose SPIRIT AIRLINES when flying.

I can't even give a star for this airlines. The services in Fort Lauderdale is horrible and especially that Uncle Tom name Leon. Really how are rules different here than back home. Why is the the two states have different rules. Really I don't get it.

Today was HORRIBLE.Service sucked. Leon who claims he runs the department implied that Spirit Airlines in Metro Detroit were incompetent, unaware of Spirit Airlines policy. We came to Florida with no problems. All kinds of problems getting home. No one answers the corporate numbers...

I flew spirit from Philadelphia to Denver on 8/2/15 to 8/4/15 all four flights where delayed. One of them had to be changed all together. The worst experience i have ever had i was in the airport for close to 24 hours with no reasons as to why all the delays. The spirit employes treated us so poorly and rood. There is no one to speak with in customer service and the people i did talk to had no answers. I dont understand how you can run a business this way not caring about the people that support your business. If i could score this as a zero i would. I would also ask that no one support spirit air lines.

I have flown many airlines and Spirit Airlines is by far the WORST airline possible. WAKE UP SPIRIT AIRLINES AND LISTEN TO THE CONSUMERS!!!! I booked a flight and Spirit changed my flight. As a result, my husband and I were offered two free round-trip vouchers to use up to a year. Guess What?....I could not fly when I wanted to. I was flexible but nothing was available for several months to use my voucher. So I was going to "give in" and fly on a date finally available only to find out that I had to pay an additional $200.00 for taxes and fees (on top of the pricey baggage fees). I WILL NEVER USE SPIRIT AIRLINES AGAIN!!! And never mind getting any good customer help! This rates LOWER than one star!

I was involved in an auto accident the day I was to fly out and I contacted the airline from the emergency room while getting staples put in my head. I prepaid for my luggage $60, prepaid seat assignments $280, shortcut boarding $23.96. I was told by email that too bad so sad your screwed out of that money because I didn't cancel in a timely fashion. I didn't want someone to hit me, total my car, me end up with staples in my head and my car totaled. This was our 1st time flying Spirit and I will guarantee we will NEVER fly Spirit.

They don't rate even a one. I had over 30,000 miles of Free Spirit miles and had to "eat" two round trip tickets back in April. They didn't credit me with this and now have taken away the miles. Customer service is nonexistent...hours of phone calls and nothing. I did finally reach someone who did return the call with quite an attitude. I could get my miles back if I got yet another credit card. I signed up for one a few years ago, and the things that were promised did not pan out. I was a good customer (flying very frequently) and will gladly pay twice as much for another airline that treats their customers like the people who pay their salaries. The planes are dirty, the help is rude and they soon will probably charge you to use the bathrooms. Save your money and your aggravation level, and boycott Spirit.

I can't even give this company a 1 star rating. They have made it impossible for me to cancel my membership and you can never get a representative on the line. I have been on hold for over 2 hours on 6 different occasions. Do yourself a favor and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this airline!!!!!!!

Don't ever fly Spirit!

I purchased tickets for my parents to visit me in Florida. Five days before the trip, my mother ended up in the hospital. When i called Spirit and explained the cituation, they simply stated that tickets are not refundable and they will issue a credit toward next booking of less then 30% of the price we paid and the offer would expire in 60 days. Needless to say, the tickets were lost, my parents could not come over during the 60 days period we were given, and i did not get any credit at all. I'm sure that our seats were resold and Spirit did double dipping. This was a Highway Robbery.

I would rate it zero stars if possible. After being my airline of choice between Chicago and Ft Myers, I learned that they legally steal from their customers with no remorse. I purchased round trip including seats and bags for my wife and I. We missed the first leg. The return was 6 weeks later. Not only did they cancel the return but also the bags and seats. I paid twice for everything. Since it was in the middle of the holiday season, I had to make an immediate decision when I arrived for the outbound leg or I would have flown another airline. This is my last flight on Spirit. "Bags fly Free" looks great. Southwest does care about their customers. If you insist on flying them buy single segment tickets so if you miss one leg, they don't cheat you out of remaining legs. Also, when their "Customer Service" turned me down, they said "there will be no more correspondence on this subject." Some customer service.

Sprit Airlines has the WORST customer service, or lack thereof, that I have ever experienced with any company in the world. I fly a lot and after my next trip on Spirit, which is already paid for, I will NEVER fly with them again.
