I began using Bright Sky when they purchased another diabetes supply vendor. During the 2 years that I used them I experienced multiple occurrences of having dangerously low diabetes supplies due to what may only be referred to as a system of incompetency.

The icing on the cake has been, after leaving them 2 years ago and my calling them multiple times over the course of 3 months to ensure there were no outstanding or in process bills, I still receive bills 2 years later.

The other reviews have pretty much covered it. Our biggest issue was inconsistent delivery of supplies which is very dangerous for an insulin-dependent child who uses an insulin pump. I usually had to call them once a month to ask where our delivery was. Different answer every time depending who you talked to. The representatives either make something up or are very poorly trained and do not understand what they are looking at when they provide an answer. The last straw, and I shouldn't have waited this long, was we haven't received a shipment in almost 2 months due to a backordered item. Of course, they would never had to notify me; I had to call twice. When I cancelled my account they couldn't have cared less. I hope enough people get the word out about the unaccepable service of this company. They also have an F at the Better Business Bureau. Pass on to anyone you know; diabetics, seniors, and others, that there ARE other and better companies available to serve you.

If I could give negative stars, I would! It won't let me give zero stars, I tried! Run, run far away! Find another medical supply company. I used to use Great Lakes, they were great! But since Bright Sky took over, I have had nothing but trouble. I call and am on hold for a very long time, it bumps me to voice mail, I leave multiple messages, no one calls back. Today I called about an order, the person told me it was due to be shipped out 2 weeks from now, 2 weeks ago someone told me it was being shipped THAT DAY! The person today had NO idea what was going on, transferred me to the pump supply department, and was on hold in limbo. No one answered and I hung up after 15 minutes. During the on hold time I was looking for a different company via my insurance web page, and I am going to use someone else.

This is one of the worst companies i have ever dealt with. I have been trying to pay a bill for months and they will not send me the proper paperwork. I have spoken to several people, several times and they always say they will have the invoice in the mail "today!" Well, finally, after many months it is here TODAY. However, there is NO company name, address, or phone number on the invoice. so, why would my insurance company want that????



Also, I have been waiting for diabetic test strips for MONTHS. I have been using expired ones (from 2012), since Bright Sky has said they would send them, but never does.



Once they told me that my doctor is NOT on file with them (he was/is.) Then they told me he didn't order enough...then they made my doctor's office call them at least twice to get THEIR problem straightened out.



My insurance company tried to talk to them but they wouldn't speak to the insurance company about me even though I gave permission.



They said they couldn't FAX me the invoice because of HIPPA rules but they assured me it would go out in that day's mail. So finally, after about 2 months, I get it today!



I tried to call BRIGHT SKY to speak with someone but after waiting in a voicemail holding pattern for a long time, whoever picked up the phone,immediately hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a manager - TWICE! Both times it went to Voice mail.. a different box each time. Then I called back and said I would speak with anyone in customer service. The receptionist put me on hold, having to listen to a recorded message for 20 minutes and then she HUNG UP on me.



I would say RUN FROM BRIGHT SKY. The people you will have to deal with are below average in intelligence and cannot process an order or a bill correctly. They also do not give reliable information over the phone if you do happen to connect with one of them....



BUYER BEWARE! And, when YOUR HEALTH is concerned, BE VERY AWARE!!!

This is the worst medical supply company I have ever done business with. They could not deliver my diabetic son his insulin pump supplies on time. For over a year we contacted them every month and went through all their complaint and resolution departments and never got a resolution. I have even contacted the better business bureau. I would recommend finding another company to do business with especially if the medical supplies you need affect your quality of life or if your life depends on them because you can not depend on this company. I only gave this company a single star because yellow pages will not allow you to rate them zero stars.
