When I saw the review here (from September 2011) about Blind Squirrel's poor customer service, I was hoping I wouldn't have the same experience. Just today I discovered that a hotel/waterpark voucher I'd purchased on Blind Squirrel was unusable because the hotel went out of business. I started looking for the customer service phone number online (because, of course, they don't list it on the Web site). That's when I came across this review. I thought, "S&*T! I just lost $85." I never did find a phone number for the company, but I decided to email them. I got a response right away, offering to credit my account on Blind Squirrel for $85. I am happy with that resolution because I buy deals on Blind Squirrel fairly often, so I know I'll be able to spend the money another way.



I'm sorry the other reviewer here had a bad experience, but I wanted to share a different story. (I did learn from this experience that I need to check the daily deals sites I use to see exactly what their refund policy is. One site, Star Tribune STeals, says no refunds after 48 hours from purchase, period. That's harsh!)

Beware this daily deal site. I purchased a deal from a company that (unfortunately) the Blind Squirrel purchased. After I attempted for almost a year to try and use the deal it was clear the window cleaning company had no plans to ever provide the service. After many emails, the Blind Squirrel customer service refused to refund my purchase price. There are plenty of daily deal sites out there... choose a reputable one that honors their refund policy.
