I will never shop at Kay Jewelers again. I recently made a purchase and the sales clerk asked me, after I had paid if I would like to sign up for instore promotions and special sales. I replied yes. After a few questions, I realized that this was not the case. He was trying to sign me up for the instore credit card without asking me or telling me that was what it was. How many people are being taking advantage of by this ILLEGAL process? I tore up the paper which was a credit application, and told the clerk that this was wrong and he is not to do that. I then called and asked to speak to a manager and was told she was out, but that this woman was the district manager. And she told me, there are two sides to every story and I did not believe my associates would do that. Really? I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the MN Attorney General.
