The Share Corporation started in a small, 10,000-square-foot warehouse in Brookfield, Wis., where $100,000 worth of merchandise was shipped in its first month of existence. After moving into a new 30,000-square-foot warehouse in 1980, Share purchased Athea Laboratories, a specialty-chemical manufacturer and product development company. After the purchase of Athea, Share improved its niche market of chemical specialties. With the help of Athea s research and development expertise, Share quickly expanded its product line to the current level of more than 400 specialty chemical products. From herbicides to insecticides to industrial cleaners to aerosols, Share has a product to serve an array of industries and businesses. The Share Corporation is headquartered in Milwaukee.
