Changed out my water softener to higher tech option… no more carrying 40 pound salt bags down the stairs!!! Also changed out the reverse osmosis water filter… made sure I had proper shut off valves etc. I had another company’s product and when they installed there where no shits off between filtered water to sink vs. refrigerator.

What I most appreciate is that everything is cleaned up, workmanship is impeccable and they let me know about other issues they have noted on their visit. I never feel pressured in any way …but it’s good to get a heads up on some of the “jerry rigged” (non code) items in the house. I always have a choice and because I have their yearly service I can call anytime and get help! Highly recommend!

July 2024 Called Roman for an emergency electrical issue. Nick was very thorough, checked all electrical systems and identified the problem. His apprentice Matthew was very helpful. I will need to get a new stove exhaust fan.

Mike did an inspection for us. He was thorough and professional! Great job!

I had Armand V. from Roman Electric and Plumbing to my residence to check regarding the presence of a gas line/hookup in order to replace a kitchen oven/cooktop. I've had Armand replace faucets in my bathroom and kitchen, he's replaced a showerhead and faucet in another bathroom, and he replaced a garbage disposal in my kitchen. Armand has ALWAYS been polite, professional, and extremely courteous. He's very knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain what he's doing and make recommendations or suggestions when asked. I would highly recommend Armand and Roman Electric and Plumbing for any/all plumbing and electrical needs.

Great experience with Roman Electric! The company's communication is wonderful, the guys arrived on time - very professional and very pleasant. Kevin (and Kevin) did a wonderful job installing a ceiling fixture and replacing a ceiling fan switch. They also provided me with a quote for additional work. I think their pricing is very competitive and I will definitely use Roman Electric in the future - they are now my "go-to" for electric work!

I was very happy with the service and very confident in Mikes work and ethics. He was efficient getting to the problems and informative as to what was wrong, what he was doing, and what it would cost. Cleanup was done equally as well.

I had a hot water tank (under warranty) quit, it was replaced the next day but I was told it was too short for the plumber to hook up, don't think the warranty company would pay for it anyway. So here I am with a water tank and no way to hook it up. My neighbor recommended Roman Electric and I made the call. To make the story short I was called back by Roman E. and the gentleman came out that afternoon and hooked it up, did a job better than what was done before! He was extremely courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He checked my outlets, etc. as a courtesy they provide when he was done. He was also one of the first people that went to put booties on to cover his shoes. I am extremely satisfied with Roman Electric and would recommend them anyday! Best contractor I ever hired! Thank you so much for a job beyond well done!

Called them to fix switches in our home because of fire safety issues. I was able to get appointment set for a day later which I was relieved for fear of our home possibly catching on fire. Mike the electrician that came out was courteous, professional and knowledgable and was able to get the work done in a timely manner. He also offered suggestions on things that we should get done and answered all my questions and concerns. We will definitely call again sometime in future. No disappointments, happy I made the call.

This honest and excellent service deserves to be noticed. On a Friday late afternoon before Labor Day weekend, I was trimming the yard and accidentally cut the 220 line to our well pump! I needed help and called Roman electric..knew the name from the TV ad..The receptionist said I would get a call back shortly from a Service Electrician..and never expected a call within about 10 minutes..Jim happened to be in the area and actually knew more about wiring in this old farm that we did. He assessed the problem. He explained in detail our options and even provided information on a possible service contract that can help us in the future. Roman electric was a decent company before they expanded to the heating and cooling and plumbing. They have been going downhill since. The office staff lacks knowledge and then when the technician comes out they give you a different story. I had a hot water heater put in a few months back and they left without even checking the water pressure. I had to leave as soon as they finished the job to get to work and when I got home I had nothing coming out of my faucets. The technician verbally told me the warranty but I had to call repeatedly before I could get the office staff to email it to me in writing. Just today I had someone come out and they were supposed to do an AC check and clean the dryer vent. The technician said they do not do that type of work and I needed to call a duct cleaning company or a plumber. When I scheduled the appointment I asked them specifically if the heating and cooling guy would be able to clean the dryer vent. I was told yes and even asked to make sure that they would bring along the correct tape for the piping after they clean it. When they called me today to change the appointment I had scheduled and ask me if they could come early I reminded them again and they confirmed. When I called the office I was told I had to speak to the service manager. I was given to a voicemail and left a message and never heard back. I have referred a lot of my clients to this company but will not be doing so anymore and I will make sure everyone I know is made aware of the lousy service and incompetent work.
