Longfellow Middle School is a community school that provides enrollment to more than 800 students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, speaking, oral language, art, mathematics, physical education, science, social studies and technology education. It offers language programs in German, Spanish and French, as well as sports programs in basketball, cross country, wrestling, track and field, weight training, cheerleading and swimming. The school offers various extracurricular activities, such as choral music, instrumental music, band, dance, choir, orchestra, forensics, spirit squad and student council. It also offers tuition programs to those students who need extra assistance. Longfellow Middle School is affiliated with the Wauwatosa School District and is located in Wauwatosa, Wis.
