Dave's had my bike for over a week before looking at it. I had to call a few times to get the status. "Dave" who answers the phone was angry and rude, complaining that he "was up to his eyeballs in bikes", or basically complaining that business was good. When I went to pick it up it wasn't done and they stated they woiuld need a few more days to get a part they needed. Instead I took the bike to Anderson bike in Quincy, who had the right size tire and completed the job happily and politely in 15 minutes while I waited.

Gosh, what a disappointment.

Went to Dave's Bike Infirmary to repair a bike that fell off the back rack on a highway. The guy who met me there, Scott, was very nice, but when I asked him about an estimation, he was like" "ok, here 30, there 15, we'll see". I thought: "Ok, this probably won't be more then a hundred, right?" and left the bike in the shop. Scott promised me to fix the bike by the next Wednesday, in one week. One week later I recieved a phone call from Scott - guess what, he haven't even touched the bike yet, needs one more week. Ok, I thought, it's a biking season, the schedule is full, I can wait one more week. Today I recieved a phone call from the shop - I guess, it was Dave, the owner: "Hey, listen, it will cost you 300 bucks to repair the bike". I was shocked - the bike itself had been bought for this amount of money. And then Dave goes: "Hey, are you going to repair the bike?" I assumed that they have already done the repairs, but I was wrong. Dave was like: "No, I didn't touch the bike yet, I'm not doing 300 bucks worth of repairs without asking the owner first".

Well, good for you, Dave. Couldn't you spear me 2 weeks of waiting for nothing? I could go elsewhere with my bike for an estimate, and now I have to ride back to your shop and pick up my poor broken bike after 2 freaking weeks of wasting the biking season.

Very bad done, guys. That's not what I call a good service.
