For over 60 years, Karol-Warner has designed and manufactured construction materials testing equipment for civil engineering testing laboratories, universities and Departments of Transportation throughout the world. With a focus on laboratory equipment for geotechnical, soil mechanics and asphalt testing, Karol-Warner has pioneered the development of dependable equipment to meet rigorous test requirements and yield accurate results. In 1953, innovative civil engineers Karol and Warner left their day jobs to take a chance on manufacturing their own soil grouting equipment, and quickly recognized a need for methods and equipment to provide more reliable information on soil properties. They soon developed a unique apparatus for testing soil consolidation, and in 1954, introduced the Karol-Warner CONBEL™ Pneumatic Load Frame, which quickly became our flagship product. As we continue to develop new products, Karol-Warner design advancements in soil and asphalt testing equipment have a direct and positive impact on the materials testing industry. Our understanding of our customer’s needs directs our development efforts, and working partnerships with major distributors have made the CONBEL™ and Karol-Warner names instantly recognizable.
