Any good review on this page disregard as it was written by the belle reve marketing staff. As a former employee the staffing on 11-7am was pleasant but otherwise was aweful as well as the training. Administration accepts cash and complaints and offers no administration service. They know only a residents check number and barely their name. After working there nearly 3 years I was given a disgusting depiction of the management of facilitated residential care. They will lie, they will cut corners, they will do what they have to do to keep your money.

Ralph, MaryAnn, Kenny and I really wanted to thank you all for the wonderful care that you gave to our parent during his short stay at Belle Reve. He was only there for three months but we were always comfortable going there to visit and also with leaving him in your care. We were extremely pleased with your programs there and your staff is extraordinary. We couldnt believe that all your staff knew all the residents after a very shorts time. We enjoyed your recreation programs and partys. We would also like to thank Dr. Wolff. He was really there for us when we needed him. He made sure that our Dad s last hours were the best they could have been under the circumstances. It is to your credit that you have such a fine doctor associated with you. Thank you again, Cis

Belle Reve Senior living Center is a horrible facility.Do not make the same mistake as my family and I did, placing a loved one in Belle Reve's care. The facility is purely ran by FOUL mouthed teenagers and if you have a complaint, the highest “authority” you are sent to, is the receptionist who isn't much of a step above. I have WITNESSED aggressive behavior from the staff to my family member, right in front of my eyes. My family and I immediately removed my elderly grandparent, once a important BREATHING medication was NOT given to her but signed off, for as if it didIt is a dark and depressing building and I would not advise anyone to bring a loved family member there for care.

After noticing the negative reviews about Belle Reve on this site, I decided it was important to acknowledge all the wonderful aspects of Belle Reve I have experienced over the past year. A year ago, my family and I made the tough decision to have my mom become a resident of an Assisted Living facility. We currently live in Milford and knew of Belle Reve from some of our neighbors. From the moment I walked in the front lobby, I could feel the warmth and courteousness from the staff and immediately felt more at ease. The entire process from the initial tour to the day my mom moved into Belle Reve was painless and comfortable. I can proudly say that my entire family and most importantly my mom are very pleased with all aspects of Belle Reve. My mom receives round the clock availability to care, delicious meals and is more active than she has been in years. With that said, I would recommend Belle Reve to anyone interested in looking for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Care.

We had to remove my 81 year old parent from this facility because we feared for their safety and wellbeing. Belle Reve made numerous medication errors (ie. "overlooking" giving an antibiotic for 4 days, not giving an esstential breathing medication for 8 days, etc)They were cited by the DPW for this. They also hire foul mouthed teenagers with questionable criminal histories who run the show after 3 pm when there is no nurse or supervisor on duty on the assisted living. I personally witnessed a personal care aid using profanity in front of elderly residents.I have heard nothing but bad things about Belle Reve from other families who had similiar experiences as mine. After the experience I had with Belle Reve, I am truly disgusted with the care that was provided by this facility.



After hours, Belle Reve is operated by rude and arrogant teenagers. I personally observed the use of foul language by the care aids, IN FRONT of the elderly residences.



Regarding other issues, My family member's well-being and safety was put in jeopardy.



We were very dissatisfied with the care provided by Belle Reve.

My family and I had a terrible experience with Belle Reve and I would never recommend placing a loved one there.

Numerous medication errors occurred with my parent, which resulted in them being cited by the state and there is no nurse on the assisted living floor after 3 pm. Aides and other employees with questionable criminal histories run the show there after hours. Their care borders neglect, and the Administration is rude and disrespectful to the families of the resident when there is a concern brought to their attention. We removed my parent because we were afraid for their safety. Honestly, my dog's vet is held to higher standards than this Belle Reve is - Stay away from this place!

We picked Belle Reve to try assisting living for our elderly mother because it *seemed* like a nice place. What a terrible mistake we made! The one and only acceptable thing there was the food.



The staff made MULTIPLE serious medical errors that we believe directly resulted in our family member having to be hospitalized. Problem after problem there forced us to take our failing mother back home because we feared for her health and well being.



The administration is rude and impossible to get a hold of, their record keeping and billing practices are dubious and don’t hold your breath waiting for a nurse after 3:00 pm because there are none on the assisted living floor. They hire high school kids with foul mouths to run almost everything – including handing out meds and pain killers- without any real supervision or management around.

I wish we had done better research before choosing Belle Reve in Milford, PA. We would NEVER recommend that facility to anyone.

This is a beautiful facility on first impression. Look again! This is the worse rehab facility I've ever seen and it should not be considered as a rehab facility because it's not one. The therapy dept is contracted out from another company, they have no idea what they are doing and their idea of rehab is neglect! The facility shares a rehab floor with skilled care so patients are mixed and 90 percent dementia patients. At night there are only 2 overworked aids and one nurse on to get 30 plus patients that require full skilled care to get to bed and to get medicine in them. It's a disgrace. They charge approxmately 8000.00 plus a month for this neglect. If you want to know their rating here is a recent Dec. 2008 article rating them the worse! Run, don't walk away from this facility. They'll brag that they rehabilitate people all the time. In over 2 months that I was there night and day I only seen one man about 50 that recovered. Families catch on quick and take their family member home to get home care OR transfer them out to a good facility. Read the article and the rating of 1 meaning they rated the worse!
