Wasatch Mountain State Park is a recreational facility that is spread over an area of more than 20,000 square feet and was set aside by the state in 1961. It specializes in providing a range of social and athletic services. The park s amenities include pavilions, restrooms, hot showers and utility hookups. Wasatch Mountain State Park also offers various activities, such as hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. It has a ranch-style building with kitchen facilities and is available for summer and winter group outings. The park was proud host of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games at Soldier Hollow.
