Shanghai is just around the corner from our house and we eat there often! The buffet is small, they don't try to do it all like the big boring buffets, they do a few things and do them extremely well! My family usually orders off the menu and then shares. I can tell you that I haven't had a bad meal yet! Highly recommended.

This is the best chinese restaurant in Virginia!! I have lived in many states in the past but have never had such great chinese food as i have had here at Shanghai! The service is great - - they even remember me and know my order! They offer dine-in, take-out, a full service bar, lunch buffet, and Delivery! I order delivery on average about once a week! They have just about the fastest delivery service that i have ever seen. The average time that i have waited for my delivery is 20 minutes! You don't know chinese food until you have tried it at Shanghai!

I have travelled extensively around the world and have sampled Chinese food from China Town in Soho, London to the street markets of Singapore. The food at the Shanghai ( eaten in or taken out ) is outstanding and right up there with the very best of them. An oasis for the Chinese food lover on the southside of Richmond VA. Enjoy !!
