I went for a quick oil change. The gentleman asked what I wanted, and I told him just an oil change; full synthetic. They were done pretty quick, but when they rang me up, the price didn't seem right; it was way too low. I asked if they had done full synthetic, and the cashier said they had me down for synthetic blend. The cashier asked the tech about it, and the tech said he just went by what was on the printout for my type of car; the printout called for synthetic blend, but I've switched to full synthetic. When I reminded him that I had asked for full synthetic, he didn't seem to understand the difference between full and the blend, and had to ask the cashier the difference. The tech seemed really surprised to learn that full synthetic isn't the same as synthetic blend. They supposedly fixed it. They were done so fast the second time that I was left wondering if they even bothered to change it again. The tech's lack of knowledge about the types of oil they have available just leaves me wondering, what else might they have don't wrong? I'm definitely not going back. I went to this place because my company which is right down the street gets a fleet discount. I'll be sure to share my experience with my coworkers so they can save themselves the trouble. I'd rather pay more somewhere else and have someone who knows what they're doing change my oil.
