My wife took a new watch to the Midland Park Mall location to have links removed from the wrist band. The jewelry technician then proceeds to open the watch, thereby voiding the warranty, and replacing the battery and seals. This work was done without the approval or prompting by my wife. The technician then could not remove the links from the wrist band. Upon arriving home, the watch was not operable. After contacting the technician and the owner, no offer was made to pay for the watch or pay for repairs done by a qualified technician. The owner defended himself by stating "why would you bring a nice watch here." Will never do business at this establishment and I hope others will heed this story and take their jewelry elsewhere.
