In just over a decade, MTCES has grown from a one-room classroom that met in the basement of Our Lady of Sorrows Church to a state-of-the-art facility in Liberty Township. We educate children from kindergarten through the eighth grade; we help young children learn to learn, as they grow in their faith, and partner with the child and their parent as they develop into well-rounded students ready for the challenges of high school and beyond. We are known as the MTCES Volunteers, which is a fitting description; our school was founded by a group of parent volunteers who wanted a faith-based education for their children. Volunteerism founded our school, and is the cornerstone for its continued success and growth. You can learn more about our school community by visiting our web pages; but please feel free to give us a call and arrange a visit ---- we would love to show you why we are an innovative private Catholic school that focuses on Academic Excellence, Faith and Community. My wife and I had never heard of Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School until we started looking for private schools for our children. We liked a lot of the other ones, but this school has an incredible STEM/STEAM program, is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, focuses on the whole child (spiritually, academically, emotionally and physically), and the feeling there is like family. Since we decided to send our children there, we have been at peace, and we have only had great experiences.
