Met friends from the shore here it was a convenient half way from Hartford. They accepted reservations which was nice since we were all driving 30 min and it was a Friday night. Nothing on site says anything about parking so we fought for a while to find a space on Main st then finally found the lot next door on College that has free parking! It was very noisy inside according to my friends who went to use the bathroom. We ate out on the patio. It was great and beautiful out but smokers come to between patio and restaurant to smoke and sometimes it wafted our way. Great selection of food with three menus to choose from. They have a pub menu and a lobster menu in addition to the regular menu. Our waitress was a bit overwhelmed and her service was not the best but other servers helped and the night was really enjoyable! The food was really excellent when it finally did come. I would definitely go back! Address is actually on College Street if finding with a GPS!

We have always had a great dining experience.

The atmosphere is awesome. Once an old opera house, many seating choices are available. We have eaten in the main dining room, at the bar and upstairs.

The food is great! We really like any of the grilled entres. They are always cooked perfectly and are accompanied with delicious vegetables.

My wife and I went to here 6/27/09. We walked in to the resturant having a reservation for 8:15. We waited over 4 min for the hostess to greet us. Although she was 3 feet away from us staring hoping we would go away. Then she told us our table wasn't ready and we need to wait. We sat in the bar area where we were again ignored for another 11 min and yes I did start timing them. Finally they sat us at a table of 4 right next to a table of 2 that had been empty the whole time. They gave us the menu this over priced entrees and the wine list. After waiting another 7 min and no waitress we decided to leave. We walked past the owner and the hostess without them saying a single word to us. Chef Ramsey would have flipped his lid. We will NEVER EVER go back again!
