I have been dealing with Midstate for years; lawnmowers, weed whackers, backpack leaf blowers, whatever equipment I have needed. They are always courteous and helpful. I have never had any difficulty with service and/or repairs. And often they fix little things (that I could never do) while I wait.
I have never had an even slightly negative experience.

Serviced my tractor with Midstate many times over the years and each and every time it either comes back incomplete, incorrect or damaged. They do not get what it means to provide excellent customer service. They either don't care or are just plain incompetent. I wish I could say it was just me to be fair, but it's not. All of my friends and neighbors are saying the exact same thing about this place. I can't help but wonder just how much more business they could be doing if they just changed their attitude and service.

we bout a tractor from midstate 14 years ago and had no problems with it. we brought it in to the shop to get tune-ups every year and they were always on top of there game with getting back to us. just a few weeks ago our tractor stop running. so we brought it in to get repaired and they still havent got back to us. so wondering whats going on we called them and asked what was going on with it. they couldnt find any records of us bringing our tractor there. we had to drive there and point out our tractor then they still didnt know what was wrong with the thing.
DONT GO TO MIDSTATE THEYRE HORRIBLE AT BUISNESS!!!!!!!!!!

this is a comment for all who think they can judge character. regarding the previous review the
owner of said lawn mower is lucky that he owns just a lawn mower........how about buying a 15,000 tractor? lawn mowers are finicky little creatures that can be troublesome no matter who tries to fix them. proper maintenance of your lawn mower and tractor must be adhered too. if you don't know what you are doing then ask for help from a friend that knows his stuff. why? because you can screw up your engine what have you if you do the wrong things to upkeep it. once that happens then it is a crapshoot as far as trying to repair a bad engine that you contributed to its demise.
as far as warranty periods go you the owner should receive all that documentation when you buy the product. also, keep your records in a safe place and just don't leave it hanging around some place and
forget about it. carelessness causes most problems with almost any product, and if you are careless and not satisfied with how people repair stuff then you should think first what got you in this problem in the first place. most people, don't admit to their mistakes of judgement and are good at pointing the finger at others.
