Horrible customer service, very unprofessional. Lady at the desk was yelling at someone on the phone, oblivious to anyone around her. The roller skating floor was bumpy and non-traditional, the place was so run down, no parking designated for this place. I don't recommend this place for anyone. Even if you don't fix up the place, customer service goes a long way, we were in and out within 5 minutes of being there.

Great little retro skating rink, close to home with a friendly owner. My kids love coming here. This is were I recently held my child's bday party....cool idea. All kids had fun...great music and Maria (owner) was interactive with the kiddos. If you are considering a bday party please read on. The time allotment for a private party is simply NOT ENOUGH. With a 20 (kid) guest minimum, remember that each child will arrive with at least 1 if not both parents. The birthday child may have grandparents and godparents to invite as well. The total guest count can easily climb to 30-40. The 2 hours allowed simply isn't enough for that amount of people. For the $280 that we pay we should be allowed 3 hours...that would be fair and more enjoyable. Or at the very least allow us 2 hrs to enjoy ourselves and then allow 30 minutes to pack up food, clean up, and bring presents to the car and say bye to our guests. When you have a party here you have exactly 2 hrs and no more, for cake, pizza, skating, clean up, etc. You basically are pushing your guests out quick. I felt very stressed and found myself eyeing the clock often. My guests felt the same and the birthday child vowed she would never have a birthday party here again. Remember this...for a noon party here's an example.....guest never arrive on time! Expect all kids to be skating by 12:30...only to get off the rink for pizza by 12:45 then return to rink by 1:15 for more skating fun and then off again by 1:45 for cake. As the parent you don't enjoy yourself cause you are busy cleaning up, packing up and getting everything back to the car so that the next party can arrive for exactly 2 o'clock. It's insane and not right. I didn't really enjoy the events for my child's party. I was busy worrying about the next party because I didn't want to cut into their time. I hope mgmt. considers some changes!

This one of the last remaining roller skating rinks in CT. Sure it is a outdated and in need of renovation, but there is nothing like putting on a pair of roller skates and circling the roller rink. The owner, Maria, is so friendly and even willing to offer a skating lesson to those in need! I hope the Middletown Roller Rink is around for a long time!
