There was a piece of rubber 1.5-2 inches long, 2/3 inches wide, and ½ inch thick in the soup of someone in our party. This is obviously a major sanitation issue and joking hazard. If that wasn’t bad enough the way it was handled by management was horrendous. The waitress was extremely concerned and apologetic, but the manager was horrible to deal with. He didn’t even bother to come over to speak with us. He only authorized the waitress to take $3 off of our meal of over $150. Even when we left and passed by him there was no attempt to speak with us. I had to directly ask to speak with the owner. The owner seemed fairly apologetic and offered a $50 gift certificate to use at a future date. Given the potential worst case scenario for his business and the way it was initially handled this didn’t seem like much of an effort.
