Went to CT Spine & Disc Institute for hip/back pain diagnosis. I was told that I had disc herniation, cysts, stenosis. I was then referred to a hip specialist who helped with the SI joint issues that I had. I still had back pain, though, so I returned to Dr. Raftery to see if he could suggest ways to stop my pain. He told me he wouldn't perform a fusion and 'goodbye'. There was no suggestions at to where to go to help alleviate my pain, so I ventured on my own & started seeing an accupuncturist/chiropractor. There was no help from the chiropractor in Watertown, so I suffered for months again until a Groupon came across my email for CONNECTICUT FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC CENTER IN DANBURY. I bought the Groupon & went for the initial visit, where the Dr. took xrays of my lower spine and hip. AMAZINGLY, the Dr. found that my lower spine was extremely curved!!! SOMETHING RAFTERY NEVER EVEN EXPLAINED TO ME!!!!! So now I am under the care of a wonderful team of Doctors who are actually helping me. CONNECTICUT FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC CENTER is a God Send!!! I'm so optimistic about my pain going away, I'm a different person!!! NO THANKS TO money-grubbing Dr. Raftery. Save you time & money and go somewhere where they're compassionate about their patients and actually WANT to help them.
