The Washington Park Zoo founded in 1928, exhibits more than 90 species originating throughout the world. The animals are exhibited in natural settings, surrounded by botanical plantings. Among the exhibits are Bengal Tigers, Tamarins, Alligators, Grizzly Bear, Kangaroos, Lemurs, River Otters, Bald Eagles, and more. Gen­eral Admis­sion Rates: Adults (12– 61 years) $7.00, Seniors (62 years and up) $6.00, Children (3−11 years) $6.00, Children (2 years & under) Free. Michigan City Resident Special Rates and Group Rates are available.
