The mission of WMO is to make music an integral part of the physical, emotional, psychological and cognitive development of children and youth; insure that there are more professional musicians of color in symphony orchestras; increase the classical audience in concert halls; use music to encourage cultural fusion between nations, integrate music with academics and arts; to create a full time professional symphony orchestra; and present high caliber performances for all the communities we serve.
