Founded in 1984, Tropical Aviation Distributors serves aircraft owners and operators in the Caribbean and parts of South America marketing and distributing Cessna aircraft and other aviation products. It provides product support, warranty administration, technical support and training coordination for Cessna aircraft operators. TAD is the exclusive distributor for Thielert aircraft engines and sells used aircraft, leases aircraft and provides assistance in arranging insurance and finance for the aircrafts. TAD is part of the Africair aviation group and is based in Miami.
