I went to see Janette for hair removal with Electrolysis a few months ago. My experience initially was good until I went a few times and realized she had very little experience. First, I went for a consultation. She was very nice and the place was very clean and inviting. But the truth is that a nice and clean place doesn't mean the treatment is being done properly. I went to treat my chin. I would go for 15 and 30 minute sessions. My chin was not covered in hair like a man I just had sparring hair on my chin and although that was the case I ended up leaving at the end of most sessions with hair still on my chin. She would spend way too much time trying to remove one hair. I was not happy about this but I continue going to her. In the consultation she told me that she performed Thermolysis and blend. I did my research online and read that blend is the most effective form of electrolysis and that it is used on people with thick and dark hair which was my case. She started doing the thermolysis on me but since I read blend was better I told her I wanted the blend. She did it once but I think she was not experienced with this form of electrolysis because she had originally told me she felt more comfortable doing thermolysis. After she did the blend I made another apppointment to do blend again but she sounded annoyed and told me somewhat in a rude way that she was not going to do blend on me because it was her certification on the line and that if i wanted she would give me the number of another person to get the blend. I was a little upset to hear her be so rude to me because I had never been rude to her and she was the one who told me she did the blend. I have called other places and they directly told me they don't do blend so she could have done the same instead of lying to me and then giving me attitude when I asked for something she said she could. I did not feel comfortable going to her after seeing how rude she was so I contacted another lady who does electrolysis and that was the BEST decision I made because this lady works very fast and has 20 years of experience so she knows what she is doing. I am still going to this new lady and I barely have any hair on my chin and I currently working on other areas of my body. Electrolysis is a serious treatment that could lead to scars and burns so make sure you do your research and find someone who has years of expereince. Unfortunately Janette only has about a year and a half of experience and obviously needs to learn how to treat her clients. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you want to be hair free permanently and not waste your time and money.
