Miami Northwestern Senior High Community School has been operational for more than 55 years. A coeducational school, it offers educational and extracurricular programs for students in grades nine through 12. The school provides various services, such as peer tutoring programs, after school learning modules, academic advising, career counseling and food services. Located in Miami, its curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography and economics, industrial arts, and physical and health education. Miami Northwestern Senior High School offers a variety of sports programs that include girl and boy basketball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, miniature golf and softball. Extracurricular activities at the school include the knowledge bowl, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America organization, junior and senior banquet, field trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts and the National Honor Society.
