DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! Th...

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! They will treat you as a customer (not a patient) whom Dr. Zeigler tries his best to sell his services to, even those that you don't need. Takes you into his office to convince you to do all sorts of work in your mouth, then tries to convince you to start that same day so that you are stuck with him. Prices are over/EXTREMELY OVERPRICED.... ($300 for a regular filling?!!! c'me on ..this place is not located in Bal Harbour or someplace similar.) Prices are ridiculously high. I had a full set of X-Rays done and Dr. Zeigler quoted over $5,000 worth of work needed in my mouth. Luckily, I did not let him convince me and I was able to fight for my X-Rays and took them with me for a second opinion as I could not believe what I had heard. It ended up being that all I needed were 4 cavities filled for just a little bit over $500. Dr. Zeigler wanted to place crowns, do root canals and countless other items that I did not really need.... he is just a desperate salesperson (the more he sells the better), not a doctor.... DO NOT TRUST this dentist!!!! He does not want the best for his patients, he wants their MONEY $$$ --- LOOK FOR A BETTER PLACE WITH ETHICAL STANDARDS IN PLACE. No ethics whatsoever at this place.

I’m very sorry and sad that you feel this way and I will address the issues you have expressed. My concern for all my patients is paramount and that is why I take the time to meet personally with each new patient as I did with you - not in an effort to convince you, but because I like to get to know my patients and believe that a dentist-patient relationship should be one that lasts forever. Call me old school, but we are like family here. Because I care, I took the time to review your x-rays and clinical exam notes again and agree with my original treatment plan. The fact is that there are “many ways to skin a cat”. While your other dentist may have seen it fit to treat you with only the immediate issues, I present my patients with a comprehensive treatment plan and will not have you coming back every few months (other than for your routine cleanings). My experience has shown me that patients want to know EVERYTHING that is going on, and the BEST way to deal with it. While I love to see my patients, I realize that dentists are not the highest on their priority lists. Therefore, patients appreciate me informing them of all of the treatment they require at once. Then they make informed decisions based on the larger picture and can expect no surprises later. I am certain that any dental peer review board would validate the treatment plan that I presented you. I am very conservative with my recommendations and try to prevent major expenses and future dental problems. With regard to our fees, they are generally at or below UCR (usual, customary and reasonable) in our area and this is validated through the thousands of insurance claims we file annually. Many patients ask us to begin their treatment the same day, and knowing how anxious they are, we try to be compassionate, understanding and accommodating. As you witnessed at your visit, we have a busy practice and that is due to the many referrals we receive from our happy patients and the excellent reputation we have worked hard to earn. It is unfortunate that you perceived us differently; however, I wish you luck with your new dentist and nothing but the best moving forward. -- Dr. Jan L. Ziegler

Amazing Dentist and Office!

In the past I had a bad experience with my old dentist, I was in desperate need of a new one, because I had a few problems with my mouth. I was very lucky that my friend highly recommended Dr. Ryan Ziegler to me. I was very impressed by the office staff. They were all very informative and friendly. I met Dr. Ryan, and immediatley felt comfortable. He made me feel confident that he would be able to complete my dental treatment and I wouldn't feel any discomfort. He was very gentle and attentive to my needs and I was so happy with the quality of his work that I recommended my family to the office. If you are looking for a great dentist and office, this is the place to go.

I got my teeth cleaned many times by Ana--she is a wonderful Dental Hygienist.

Unfortunately, I had to stop going to the office after getting two teeth filled: Surface anterior seven and surface anterior eight: Dr. Ryan Ziegler filled the teeth. The previous fillings had shrunk—so the fillings were removed and the teeth were refilled. I cannot imagine that the cure was going to be worse than the sickness. Every day, the discomfort makes me think about the teeth.

During the second visit that I went to see Dr. Ryan Ziegler because of the discomfort, I noticed that he gave me an attitude and said that it would take about six month, sometimes, for one to get used to the filling. It has been about eight months: I will be going to another dentist to get this corrected.

I know that the fillings are not right and/or there was a malpractice in the procedure--because of the daily discomfort, which is making me suffer from the anguish of having to think about it every day—literally. Maybe the fillings were not prepared correctly or they were not sterile, as they needed to be. I do not know what is causing the discomfort—I know for certain, that it is not okay—otherwise, I would not have to think about it every day. Even with the previous fillings, I did not have so much discomfort, as I do with the new fillings. With the previous fillings, I knew that they had to be refilled because went I ate, at times I felt that tiny particles of certain foods would get between the teeth—and the x-rays confirmed my feeling about the teeth. With the new fillings, the discomfort is worse—whether I eat food or not the discomfort is felt: It feels as if food is stuck between the teeth. Therefore, I know that something is not correct.

They advertise often: Unfortunately, they forgot that the best advertisement is through word of mouth—people’s recommendations.

My desire resolution: That when I go to another dentist to seek advice and the dentist confirms my feeling that the procedure done is not correct, that I get recompensed for the pain and for the suffering that I am enduring, and for the money that I paid Dr. Ryan Ziegler for the procedure done at his office. I also desire that Dr. Ryan Ziegler would practice more caution.

I bought the LivingSocial deal...

I bought the LivingSocial deal and arrived for my appt. a half hour early. They actually took me a half hour late, so I waited a full hour. The nurse took bite wing x-rays and then insisted I watch a video on Periodontal Disease (she claimed everyone must watch it). Next, I met with Dr. Ziegler and he throw a hard sales pitch about why they're great and how someone even drives 3 hours for them. He uses a 'we love a personal touch with our clients' approach. Next he barely put the tool to my tooth and in an obviously fake exaggeration, he proceeded to explain how I needed an $1100 cleaning to avoid periodontal disease. Now it made sense why they insist on people watching the video. It's a scare tactic for a predetermined plan to get you to pay the money for the cleaning. To top it off, he twice stressed he was going to waive the $300 fee for the additional x-rays and even winked like some sleazy used car salesman. Avoid this place, find yourself an honest dentist.

The Best Dentist Ever!

I could go on and on about how terrific Dr Ziegler's office is, but you need to see for yourself. My cousin Elena, who has been their patient for almost 20 years, told me they were the best and they are in EVERY way. They really cared about my feelings. I have had a lot of work done in my mouth since I was a child and I am very nervous just thinking about going to the dentist. Although they have a busy office, they gave me so much personal attention that I felt as though I was their only patient. They fixed several cavities and did cosmetic work that has given me a smile that I dreamed about for years. If you want a dental office that will really make you happy, this is the one for you.‎

The worse treatment I ever had

They are the most expensive and worse treatment I ever have, the doctor was talking about the wife shower during the time he was doing my surgery, also they lie about the time when the treatment as going to be done, treating me as a little girl to extend the treatment,
