The Metuchen Branch YMCA, a part of Metuchen Edison Woodbridge YMCA, is a family health and wellness center. The center coordinates an aquatic program for cancer survivors in collaboration with Lance Armstrong Foundation. Metuchen Edison Woodbridge YMCA, a nonprofit organization, is one of the largest child care services providers in Middlesex County in New Jersey. The parent organization operates various off-site child care centers and day camps. It also maintains outdoor community pools in Fords, Port Reading, North Edison and South Edison in New Jersey. Metuchen Edison Woodbridge YMCA employs more than 600 part- and full-time staff members and serves more than 35,000 individuals.
