Definately a great place to eat.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

And the seafood rellano is fantastic.

Go there once and I bet you go back.

If you are a finicky health nut don't go here. If you are a Tex-Mex junkie, this is HEAVEN! My husband & I drive from Grand Prairie every chance we get because it is soooo worth it.

Don't confuse this restaurant with the La Posada's chain. This is part of the Posado group with it's flagship, Mercardos, in Tyler, TX. Eat at Posados then go to La Posadas & you will be disappointed.



The chips here are always fresh, the salsa mild with good flavor. The fajitas can be eaten without teeth & the fajita butter (which is served on the side) probably adds an extra 500 calories & is worth every step you have to run to burn them. The cheese enchilada are amazing. It's like they whip real cheeses so that they are lite without that velvetta/processed taste most places have. The tamales are the best I've had, including my cousins homemade ones that she sells. And the free sopapillas are flakey & just sort of crumble when you add butter & honey. Service is almost always perfect. They can have a line out the door with every table full & you still get friendly servers who bust their buns to keep you satisfied & not feel rushed. I would give every Posados & of course, Mercardos, 5 stars but this one would get 10!
