Roadie

I travel constantly, but for the first time in ten years i stayed put for a month at Twin Palms. It is neat, well maintained and the owner is present at least five days a week--if not more. The place is cozy and the neighbors are quiet. I was very comfortable here. Steve, the owner, is very personable and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend Twin Palms .

Stayed Here For Years

My husband and I have chosen Twin Palms as our RV park every "snow bird" winter for years. I regret that I have not written a review before because I could be on record with our history of satisfaction with this park. There are a number of permanent residents here and we re-establish our friendships each year with them and with other snowbirds who are here year after year. The park management is attentive to ANY disturbances or behavior that might interfere with our stay. We appreciate the consistency of the park policies because we know we can expect a safe, quiet, CLEAN stay here.

look elsewhere

Do not stay here. It is cramped with no parking. There is a sewer smell in the whole park at certain times of the day. The neighborhood is bad. There is a water canal along the park and kids throw rocks at the rv s doing damage. Take a look at all the cameras and spiked fences and you will get the idea. The owner is overbearing and will knock at your door every other day to complain about other tenants. If any of his property is damaged he will lock the bathrooms down for a week. Not a place I would ever stay again. Management is unprofessional

in reference to the previous review

I am a seasonal visitor and I've been staying at Twin Palms for the last 11 winters, needless to say I've seen a lot of people come and go through the park. Steve has always been more then accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I happen to have witnessed the situation that occurred in the previous review and actually chatted with them prior to their departure. They told me they had a great stay and looked forward to a return, now fast forward to the " fender vendetta incident" the wife was driving their RV and pulled to close to a palm tree and to correct herself negligently backed into my neighbors truck. Did she stop? NO. Did she notify said neighbor? NO. She drove away as if nothing happened. I enjoyed reading their contradicting review, but felt compelled to let the readers of these reviews know their story and feelings of the park weren't as such, until they hit and ran. I have seen the improvements through the years in this park and really enjoy coming back every year.. MOST of the people that stay here are very personable and easy going.

Tight fit

What's good here is good. The bathrooms are clean and nice and it's tucked away from the rest of the city which is pleasant. The price is good. However, Steve told us upon arrival we had to pay in cash or check which he said was stated on the website. It isn't. We didn't have enough cash so we had to go find an ATM. Our 30' trailer took up most all of the space so the truck got set partially on the concrete pad. This was not acceptable since they were trying to protect the pads from cracking. We had to park partially in the path. That requirement created a serious problem when we left. Another truck was parked partly in the path as well and getting out of this place is a job and a half. Steve had made no attempt to assist us in making the near impossible turn out and we hit that truck while attempting our departure. What had been a peaceful stay turned into a nightmare. Beware of the ultra tight turn to get out. Overall, I can't recommend this place, too many problems.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

We stayed here for a week and LOVED this place. It was a small quiet place to stay. The laundry facility was very helpful and the WIFI and cable was included at every site. Steve was very friendly and welcoming. overall this place was just what we were looking for and will be back again next year.

Stayed there 3 months- it was wonderful!

This is a nice little park tucked back off the street in an area that is very accessible to downtown Mesa. I found both the owner Steve and the on-site manager Mark to be very friendly and accommodating. I was there with my 7 year old twin girls and I always felt safe and comfortable there. The bathrooms and laundry room were not what I expected. I expected something along the line of what one would find at a public shower facility. Instead, they are like home showers, made out of stone with glass doors; the bathrooms have ceramic tile floors and partially on the walls; new sinks, etc. There is obvious pride in the facilities that Steve offers. The laundry room is clean and sufficient and I truly recommend this park to anyone coming into the area. After searching around for a long time, I believe this is the ONLY RV park that will allow children that is clean, nice and safe and not some kind of drug-infested hole.

Awesome Weather and Awesome Park

We stayed at Twin Palms in Mesa Arizona for the past 3 months and what a great experience. It is a cozy park with a bunch of wonderful tenants. It has a very nice restroom/shower room, and a brand new laundry facility. The expressways are quite close which is convenient for the wife to go shopping. If we pass thru Mesa again we will surely stay at Twin Palms. Thanks for the great stay.John and Lynn

False Advertisement - cable is available?

I sent this park a $250 nonrefundable deposit. I asked specifically I want cable. No problem said the manager. The manager made me call the cable company, spent 1 hour and 15 minutes waiting to talk to a cable representative. He said there is no cable at your lot. We can dig a cable line for $50, and then you can pay another $50 to use cable. I stayed 1 night, asked for my deposit back; since they failed to be truthful about "cable available." Also was told not to allow my dogs to bark because many of the campers sleep during the day because they "work" at night.
