Founded in 1993, National Youth Sports is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 60,000 youths. It offers various sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, flag football, tackle football, baseball, softball, T-ball, volleyball and cheerleading. The organization supports Mission For The Interior, which is a charitable Christian organization. National Youth Sport's noncompetitive league has been featured at Arizona Diamondback games, AZcentral.com and various other places and venues. Its programs promote the characteristics of sportsmanship, teamwork and basic sports fundamentals amongst team members. The organization also encourages parents to participate in the child developmental process. It provides financial assistance for building group homes, AIDS clinics and orphanages. National Youth Sports maintains a location in Mesa, Ariz.
