A landscaper from JMW landscaping was out maintaining two of my neighbor's lawns this morning. He was using a leaf blower so I crossed to the other side of the street. The landscaper also crossed to the other side of the street with the blower running so I crossed back to the other side of the street. The landscaper then followed me to the opposite side of the street once again and stated that "I better not let my dog shi* on the lawn because he was going to mow. I showed the landscaper the bag I was holding to pickup the dogs poop, had the dog pooped which she had not, and I stated I understand the law which requires a pet owner to pickup their dogs poop and properly dispose of it. The landscaper stated "most people don't have that much respect." I asked him how what others do is any of my concern? He told me to "go fu** myself" and proceeding to strike my small breed dog in the rump with the hose to the leaf blower and revved the blower up launching my dog about 3 feet. Luckily my dog is OK. A police report was taken. I suggest anybody who hires this company may think twice because although my neighbors had nothing to do with the altercation, I does cause a rift because they invited this guy onto our block. I think nearly everbody wants to be able to walk their dog on their own street and not have the dog attacked by an agitated landscaper.
