Hi! I'm Tara, A licensed massage therapist since 2015 and owner of East Valley Therapeutic Massage. I was raised by a family of licensed massage therapists including my mother and two sisters. As a result, I was guided very early on along a path toward healing; ultimately, to help give people relief who are experiencing back and hip pain. I have suffered from back pain since my early teenage years from sitting for long hours at my desk, and hip pain during and after giving birth in my early adulthood. Massage therapy provided a great deal of relief for me which further sparked my interest in pursuing massage therapy as a career. I attended the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and was extensively trained through several advanced classes in pain relief massage. Upon graduating, I had all the right tools necessary to provide the best possible care for my clients. When I'm not in my massage office, I'm either enjoying metal music while working out at the gym, drinking coffee, going on an adventure in a new country, or being a mom to my daughter.
