These people ruin every car they touch brought my car thee for work and they screwed it up beyond repair just like every other car they touch. Calling them stupid would be an insult to stupid people. Do not let them work on your car!!!after I got screwed by jewls the owner I found Jim's auto down the street who is honest and respectable.

I dont want to give this shop any stars, but this website won't let me continue without it. If anything I rate Affordable Automotive negative 20 stars. We found this place in the monthly Mason newsletter, so we obviously thought that the guy was a Mason and therefore, trustworthy. Boy were we wrong. This has got to be the worst shop in Merritt Island if not all of Florida. Now that I see everyone elses reviews I agree whole heartly with everyone of them. Jule is a TOTAL crack head. Our story covers a span of over 2 and half months that this guy has been screwing us on our vintage car. He has closed his shop 3 times during this time period, probably going on his crack binges. The first couple of times was closed 5 business days and the last time has been closed for over 2 business weeks. This guy is not reliable & I wouldn't let him work on my bicycle let alone anything mechanical. If you want a good shop in Merritt Island go to Sammy's. My story is such a long horror story that you would get tired of reading about it. Just know this, I finally got my car back but I had to get it from another shop that Jule had it towed to that was suppose to weld his screw ups. I am still trying to get the rest of my parts from this guy, but he is off on another crack binge & wont open the shop or return any calls. If you have to use this guy, then I suggest getting a detailed estimate in writing up front, don't give him any money up front. If you let him sucker you in on the gentleman's handshake agreement, the cops can't do anything and he knows that. If you have something in writing, then the cops can help. But also check out his long rap sheet in Brevard County. His credintials include but are not limited to theft, dealing in stolen property, drug charges, domestic violence, etc. Save yourself & stay clear of this shop. It's not worth the hassle & headaches. Your car will be worse than it was when you took it there.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I took my vehicle to them for a simple tune up in which they had my car for 3 days and still not finished. I showed up to the shop and they were racing down the street in another customers car and when I asked one of there meechanics what was going on he told me this is how they test out the cars after they are done working on it. I then went to the office (that by the way was trashed) and demanded my keys back and took it to another shop. These guys are very unprofessional and I will be reporting them to state of florida. had our car for two months! never fixed anything and now the drive shaft which they were told to fix...they did not and it fell out while I was driving. WITH MY KIDS IN THE CAR!!!! Jule is a crack head and there is no one there that is able to fix cars!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!!!! THEY WILL SCREW YOU!!!! HAD TO HIRE AN ATTY!! WE WILL TAKE YOU TO THE BANK YOU CRACK HEAD!!!!!!!

I all so had the same problem with Jule the manger, he tells you all this great stuff, and the car will be ready and its not, waited 11 days for my car to be ready and the car was in worse shape than we I took the car for repairs. They are only good for small repairs, i.e. tires, oil changes, terrible on over heating problems with cars, head gaskets problems, would rather replace the engine instead of fixing the problem. Had to take the care to a real service place and will not give you honor commitment.

Awful. The manager, Jule, is a big talker with nothing to back it up. I brought my car to him for an air condtioning repair. He quoted me $200 - $250 as a rough estimate and said it would take a day. I was happy to find someone willing to work on a vintage vehicle. He said he would call me with a firm quote that evening, and he never called. The next day I went to check on progress and he said they were waiting on parts. He also told me he had adjusted the carb and timing free of charge. That evening, he called and said it was "all buttoned up and just needed charged" and it would be ready first thing the next morning. He also said the total was $248 and some change. The next day I arrived to pick it up at 12:30, only to find they were just starting on it!!! Jule was nowhere to be found and I left instructions for him to call me. He never did. Later that evening he left a voicemail saying the car was ready. I went to pick it up the next morning. They had it parked under a car on a lift which had leaked oil all over my car, the ducts were not installed and two bolts were missing, but the system SEEMED to be blowing reasonably cool air. The total came to $299... $52 more than what Jule told me when he said the car was ready (which it wasn't). On the way home I stopped and bought a thermometer, the AC was blowing at 70 degrees. Further, the "free" adjustments to the carb and timing caused the car to run rough and sluggish. Now I'm out $249 (I refused to pay the extra $52), the AC does not work, and the car runs WORSE than before. I won't take the car back because I dont trust them to repair it, and I hate being lied to. I am 100% confident that Jules would not make it right and/or be straight with me. He talks a great game, but then he fiddles with other stuff not requested, and then disappears. Live and learn. Please don't let these guys handle your vehicle!
