I have only had my nails done here by Tina. She does my daughter's nails and that is how I found her. Tina had always done a great job on my nails and she is fast.

First time when I got my hair cut at ylan salon they charged me more then they told me the original price. Second time I went there, nobody greet me, very bad service. the lady who cut my hair was new, she was really scared to cut my hair, it took her so long to cut couple inches of my hair. And they over charged me by double the amount. I don't recomend this salon to anybody. They are rip offs. I wasted my time and money on them. Doesnt worth going there.

I bought a package for valentines day for my wife. I was told an amount that would cover the services that I wanted to get for her. When she arrived, apparently that wasn't the case and the cost to service was much more. She had a very bad experience with the cut and color they gave her and it took hours to fix. When I asked for a refund of the rest of the money she had left on the package they denied and said that it was non refundable, despite making it a nightmare for my wife. I was very disappointed that her Valentine's was ruined and that it cost me hundreds of dollars ay the same time. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I really don't recommend this place. Fortunately there are lots of nail salons in the Boise/Meridian area. I had an appt and i showed up on time but because they gave me a 30 minute time slot and my fill was going to take 45 mins they refused to do my fill. I have never had anyone tell me that due to length of time i couldn't be seen, especially if i had an appt already. Whether its 30 min or 2 hrs, other salons have always done my nails without complaining. I thought because their website looked nice i would give them a try but there is no customer service here. They are rude and not very friendly. They made me feel like i did something wrong, oh and I had already cancelled my previous appt with another salon to get to this one earlier. very unimpressed. I wont be back.

I have gone to Ylan many times because of their convenient location. I choose my polish carefully because most of the times the polish easily chips off and looks terrible. I have seen them water down their polish - so watch the bottles that are too clear above the level of the polish. This last pedicure was awful. She rushed through the whole thing, didn't buff my nails, and just did a real quick scrub on my heals. The whole thing took a 1/2 hour. Other people who arrived before me were still getting a massage when my toes were getting painted....they have gone down hill.

A spa that is relaxing, enjoyable and serene, I had the best experience here, I will be returning!

My boyfriend was at a Boise State football game and I was looking for something to do. I looked online and discovered the Ylan Salon & Spa in Kohl on Eagle and Ustick shopping plaza. We both had a spa pedicures. It was the perfect treat after a long day of walking! I strongly recommend it!!

It was horrible. The girl that did my nails was the nicest lady, but I got the Shelac gel nail stuff. She did not let them cure long enough because she was in a hurry the whole time. They were very soft and weird feeling for a couple of days. When I called in to the manager to complain, they told me that it was not their problem they only guarantee it for 72 hrs and after that if I did not call it was my own fault. I have never had this service before so I had no idea anything was wrong until another nail tech told me that it was suppose to get hard and I needed to have them redone. DO NOT GO THERE!

This is not a good salon to get your hair or nails done because they hired inexperience workers and they give bad customer service.

I wanted to thank the woman who did my color, cut, style, pedicure, manicure and brow wax!

It is so hard to find an attractive stylist who doesnt smell like cigaretts, get too personal or possesive of clients!

I lost her card, however she wont be hard to miss, she has blond hair wears cute jeans and heels, with an adorable station! I know her name started with a "B", maybe britney??

She sailed through all my services with such efficiancy, grace and attentivness I could hardly believe my luck!

everything was done so perfectly, she even taught me how to trim my own bangs, get rid of static and repeat the style at home.

the whole experiance was delightful, soothing and the highest professional/client attentiveness I have ever, ever had.

Assisting other employee's and clients while with me, she was a marvel.

she said she was going to be there for awhile, I sure hope so!

The guy just complained about everything while he was working on my nails. He was unhappy with his job and everything else. And he hovered over me while I was paying to see how much I was tipping him. I will not be back. I go to a salon to be pampered and to relax, not to listen to other people complain.
