Zanzibar. One of the best finds I have had since coming to Menomonie. This unique and upscale restaurant is what I believe, one of the best places to grab a bite to eat in the area. You would think with a place as classy as this that it would come with a pretty hefty tab. You are mistaken! It has very fair and reasonably priced food that I think most people would be happy with. What really impressed me the most was the great service I received while I was there. They were very helpful and they were on top of their game. I can get pretty sassy if they don’t refill my drink right away. I finally decided on the Carbonara. They waiter said it was a Zanzibar favorite. It was then my favorite! It had fresh herbs, Canadian bacon, parmesan cheese, garlic (garlic is a must ingredient there), bread crumbs, and an egg, all on top of a bed of pasta. It was about as close to heaven as you get. My experience at this place was unbelievable. I couldn’t get over the great service and the killer food that came with it. For great food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend visiting Zanzibar.
