Total rip off! Overpriced and they could care less about about there patients. I made an appointment to either have a tooth extracted or have a root canal performed. Once I got there they took an x-ray($33) and performed an "evaluation"($77). Dr. wakenfus agreed I needed a root canal. He then said he didn't have time to do it that day and I would have to reschedule. I couldn't feel more undervalued as a patient as I had clearly made an appointment that would allot for this amount of work to be done so I wouldn't have to ask off for work on 2 separate occasions. I realize that dentist visits are expensive however I spent all of 15 minutes in the dentist chair and was charged $33 for an x-ray(OK) and $77 for an evaluation. Bring lube if you make an appointment.

I've been going here for years because Dr. Mike has been gentle and patient with me. However, several things have recently come to light regarding costs. We referred a relative who needed dentures, and implants because she had let her teeth go for so long. I was with her when Dr. Mike did the impression for the dentures. I got afraid when she began throwing up and Dr. Mike ignored that and continued to keep the goop in her mouth as she tried to gasp for air. Her dentures do not fit right and Dr. Mike said that one of the plates needs to be redone AND she has to pay more to have it done. It did not fit right from the beginning, she should not have to pay for something that was not made right to fit her mouth. And to make matters worse, she has already paid over $20,000.00!!!! On top of this, we recently had some financial problems and have to make payments on our $500. balance there. We were told Dr. Mike would not do anymore work on our teeth till this was paid down, but we could get our teeth cleaned. (Our insurance covers the entire cost of cleaning) So, my husband went in for a cleaning and they took x-rays, which we have to pay for. Why take x-rays when you are not going to have any work done on your teeth and by the time you would have work done the x-rays would be old and need to be redone? I'm guessing we're not the only ones who are unhappy and going elsewhere because Dr. Mike is looking for new patients! One last thing, it's listed here that he's been in business since 2009, that is a lie, we've been patients there with Dr. Mike since long before 2009! I'm totally mad that Dr. Mike is taking such advantage of his patients. He'd have to be the last dentist on earth before I'd go back.
