Appleton Utilities Department is a public service division based in Appleton, Wis. The department operates through two different divisions: wastewater treatment plant and water treatment facility. The water treatment facility provides safe drinking water to Waverly Sanitary District and the Town of Grand Chute. It also treats Lake Winnebago water to protect the public health with a multiple-step process that removes illness-causing micro-organisms and contaminants. The wastewater treatment plant offers the community with essential wastewater treatment services.
