Sheffield High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. It operates several academic departments, such as English, science, careers and technology education, performing arts and social studies. The school additionally offers programs in foreign languages, mathematics and physical education. Sheffield High School also offers the English as a Second Language program. It has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, tennis, cheerleading, cross country, and track and field. In addition, the school supports several organizations that include the Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and National Honor Society, as well as band, choir, dance, French, Spanish, yearbook and environmental clubs. Sheffield High School is located in Memphis, Tenn., and is a part of Memphis City Schools.
