The people where racists they lied about checking my credit they didn't even run it because I was a young African American the customer service was rude nobody wouldn't give me no service they pretended I wasn't even there.

I would not give car smart any star. I purchased a vehicle in June, 2008, a 2005 Volvo s40. Car Smart gave me a "free" car fax, which has now proven to be bogus. There is now an accident from 1/2008. I would never purchase a used vehicle with an accident, especially since when I paid for it I was five months pregnant. Issues with the car are: bent frame, had to repair lights because they were misaligned and also we had to replace tires more frequently than normal because of the uneven wear due to the bent frame. Now I can't even sell it on Craigslist because of the damage. $20000 down the drain and an unfit car for a family.

I bought a car here Oct 2012. Steve and Stacey seems to work together all the time. I never saw Stacey Day but talked to him several times on the phone. I gave him cash money down for a used vehicle (4000.00) Three months later, he continued to give me temporary tags (not lawful) stating my paperwork was not back yet. after several stops with the law, I checked the DMV myself, only to find the car was never registered in the state of TN. After further checking, I found the odometer was set back some 20,000 miles from the previously titled owner (also illegal of course). I am now without a vehicle to legally register and out of my money so far, had to hire an attorney ,,,,His only excuse is "I purchased the car too quick" and I never had intentions to pay him anyway...Hmmmm I wonder what the $4000.00 cash was for and the other 1500.00 was for?

A week ago I took a chance and flew to Memphis from New York to buy a car I always wanted, Honda Element SC. I explained to Bo Brigs and Marsha Rios that I will have to drive back about 1050 miles and hoped for a fair disclosure of anything that needed to be fixed and the process.



Bo was kind enough to contact his friend Darrel who met me at the airport. Both Marsha and Bo were professional, open and actually curious that I came all the way to buy a car from them. I went to the Honda dealership to change oil and do some checks. We closed the transaction very quickly. It took me 23 hours to drive back to New York. I went thru snow storm in Virginia. It was not an easy drive. But, I am very happy with the purchase.



You definitely need to check any car before you buy it. I did request the 40 point inspection at the Honda dealership before flying in.

There are always small things that can be done better, but I do believe that Bo, Marsha, and Darrel did a great job.

Stay as far away from Car Smart of Memphis as possible unless you enjoy emptying your bank account on undisclosed repairs. They have mastered the art of lying, cheating, and stealing.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS! STEVE ROSS IS A LIAR AND STACEY DAY ENCOURAGES HIS EMPLOYEES TO LIE. THEY ARE RUDE AND HEARTLESS!!!!

Please don't waste any of your time going to this car lot. Took a vehicle to a mechanic prior to making an offer, the mechanic found several thousand dollars worth of repairs needed. Now knowing the work needed to be done, I was still wanting to make an offer, instead the very next day they tell me they have already sold the vehicle, obviously to someone that didnt know what needed to be done.

Love love love!!!! Very Easy people to deal with, was in and out in about an hour with my new car. I would highly recommend, if I ever need another car will definitely check them first. Best prices great people!!!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! The sales people are nice at first but after you buy a car from them, they become rude and ignore you because they dont stand behind their cars. The cars look good on the outside but a piece of crap on the inside. I had my Acura 3months and regret it everyday. I had 3 repairs so far. They refuse to fix what they promise to repair before I purchased the car. Check the BBB ratings and see for yourself.

As we all know it can be tricky for any of us on a car lot, especially when buying used. You never know if you're getting a great car, the best price, etc. Well after many months of internet searching I went to view a few Infiiniti G35's in person. Car Smart of Memphis was by far the most friendly, personable, low-stress environment I came in contact with. They had the best price within 500 miles of Memphis according to all the different searches I did. They work with 3 different financial institues to make sure that you get the best loan available (it was even better than what the bank was going to offer me). Rodney (sales), and John (finance), both took AMAZING care of me, they were laid back enough to let me make a decision on my own and when it was time to decide on the car, the paperwork was quick, painless, and explained very thorough. Everything was on MY time...I test drove the car a few times before returning back to purchase it. I do not regret anything about this purchase. I'd rather give my money to them any day over a large dealership. Even better, when I went to get the oil change right after I purchsed it, Valvoline said it was in great shape and didn't need anything at all. What a relief! Go see Rodney :) My word that he'll make buying a car easy and stress-free.
