I highly recommnet A Plus because they seem to be competent and honest. I took my Escort in with the AC not cooling. Scott found that the refrigerant was low and fixed that, but the AC still wouldn't run. He also found that the AC clutch was not operating. He eliminated the fuse and both low- and high-pressure switches. That left the Constant Control Module. He said he didn't have the tools to troubleshoot that efficiently. I later removed the module, resoldered a cold-solder joint and that fixed the problem. I am an electronic engineer who designed relay circuits many years ago, so the fact that I fixed the problem and Scott didn't really reflect adversely on Scott. Besides it's not really cost effective for a mechanic to fix that module. Anyway, he didn't charge me a thing, although I insisted on paying for his material. Give him a try. He'll either fix the problem or won't charge you.

Highly recommended. Scott relays the issue and probable cause with the solution. He is upfront and honest. It is nice to know you can take your care to a place and not get the run around or a list of ten things wrong with your vehicle.
