Established in 1858, the YMCA of Melrose is a nonprofit organization that administers various programs and services for the welfare of the community. The organization conducts aerobic, swimming and personal fitness training classes. It operates the Common Ground Teen Center, which maintains facilities for activities, such as basketball, dodgeball, billiards, and arcade and board games.
