Today cleanin my closet an found found a treasure!, MY "old"(really kool GUESS watch i wore when i was 24 , its prolly not worth a whole lot $$; but sure is sentimental! was a lil dusty an didnt tick anymore. i was in and out in minutes with my sons new shining TICKING again! and in a new watch box!! The owner took my husband's sentimental clock which he had cut the wires back in 2004 when I was going through chemotherapy and found the Westminster Chimes humming on the hour distracting to my sleep. We took the clock to another clock maker and not knowing anything about clock repair suggested that it probably was a simple repair--just soldering the wires together. This clockmaker returned it--couldn't fix it. Owner of this store took it in another took it in another room and less than 5 minutes later came out with clock working in fine condition. Worked perfectly and now we are both so happy to hear the Westminster Chimes sound again. And owner only charged us $5. What a proficient and how reasonable can he get with that repair price.
