A Tweakers Paradise:
The property was very poorly maintained water extremely dirty not even fit for wild animals to drink docks we're falling apart screws and nails sticking through owners we're very rude only cared about payment for a campground that was nothing more than a flat spot in somebody's backyard on the side of a hill multiple people tearing cars and lawnmowers a part that seemed to work 4 Sun Cove the maintenance guy or the guy that was pulling weeds around the property threw a meth pipe away in the morning as me and my three-year-old son watched. the owner as well and he never said a word to him it was blatantly obvious this is not a place for kids or family much less a weekend of camping and fun. We planned to stay the weekend but over the first night my car had been ransacked. The glove box was torn apart the trunk had been opened and gone through all while my son and i slept 25 feet away. There were people tearing cars and jet skis apart until 2:30 in the morning. Definitely will not go back and wouldnt recommend anyone take their children to this place. Horrid

Sun Cove Resort, formerly Dan's Landing, has new owners and they are hard at work rebuilding the tarnished reputation the resort has from the previous owners. While the resort was under the previous ownership it was totally let go and there is a lot of work to be done. Don't let that stop you from visiting as the fun you previously found here has once again returned and is just getting better by the day.

This place is not a fishing resort. The new owners cleaned the place up just enough to attract slum RVs. There are no employees and no regular maintenance. It is operating off an old business model which is not carried out.; meaning there is no operating store, boats are here but they are not facilitated, there is no cafe, the docks are weathering fast, and the environment is overall cluttered with junk and unfinished projects.

WE are here at the resort now and can't say enough about what the new owners are doing to improve it. Seeing this small fishing resort come back to life is exciting as we have memories going back well into the 60's from visiting here when we were kids.
So happy that Andy and Cheryl are now the proud new owners of Sun Cove Resort, AKA Rainbow Resort back in the old days.)

What a nice place. Well taken care of, clean, family friendly, and the best fishing around.
