My experience with Requipment company has been a negative one to say the least. I have been a chef for Twenty-Eight years and have dealt with many equipment companies in my life, new and used. I have done everything from contract food service accounts to consulting, that has required me to deal with equipment. I helped in design at the convention center in Philadelphia to better explain my experience.

I decided to help a group of investors start a chain like restaurant. I have acted as a consultant on the entire project. I purchased more than $7,ooo worth of equipment with Requipment Company. One of the units basically was useless, and of course was only warranteed for 30 days. the equipment was not plugged in initially when delivered because all of the electric was not in place. The unit ran for about 8 day. All in all after repairing two of the units (that could never have been refurbished) cost $2,500 dollars. The owner was willing to give a $400.00 credit towards another purchase, but honestly I have no desire to use it, considering the condition and headache my initial experiece was.I am all for following the rules and a warranty is a warranty. in a court of law i probably would have lost. On the other hand good business is good business, and I still come from a school that a mans word and a hand shake should mean something. I cna't imagine how the unit that needed 2,000 worth of repair recieved any more care then a cleaning before it was shipped. Ironically they have been in business a long time, I'm not sure how doing business like this. I learn something new every day this lesson taught BUY NEW...This felt like buying a used car...On another note we just signed a lease for our second location! Good business breeds good business relationships....Live and learn...

WHATEVER YOU DO...DO NOT BUY FROM A COMPANY IN MECHANICSBURG CALLED REQUIPMENT CO, INC (DON). THEY SELL TERRIBLE MERCHANDISE. HE WILL TELL YOU HE STANDS BEHIND HIS PRODUCTS BUT DOES NOT. HE SOLD US 44 CHAIRS AND WITHIN 8 DAYS THEY STARTED FALLING APART. PEOPLE HAVE FELL OFF OUR CHAIRS AND WHEN WE SPOKE TO HIM, HE PRETTY MUCH TOLD US TO BUY NEW ONES FROM HIM AT A HIGHER COST THEN ANOTHER STORE PLUS PAY FOR SHIPPING TO GET THEM IN OR IT WAS OUR PROBLEM! DO NOT BUY FROM HIM. BE WARNED!!!
